Top reasons to get a B. Ed. Degree in 2020
  • There are many of us, who want just do not want to learn for the sake of it but also want to pass it on to those who are willing to learn and that is the very essence of a teacher. As it is often said, a good teacher not just teaches lessons, but also inspires hope, ignites imagination and instil a love for learning. So, to be a good teacher, knowledge of the subject needs to be supported by a proper approach to different problems, communication skills and ability to understand the psyche of the students. With every passing year, the role of a teacher is shifting from the more traditional role of following a particular syllabus to teach the students to a more personal, subjective role.
  • Multiple examinations are conducted in India to judge the eligibility of the teachers. Examinations like TET (Teacher Eligibility Test), CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test), NET (National Eligibility Test) and so on to test the abilities of the teacher. Despite being in the same list B.ed is different in the sole fact that there is no age bar when it comes to B.Ed. The course teaches aspiring teachers to understand different methods and processes that can be brought into play in a classroom environment. One might ask the reason of why this practice is so integral in the course of appointing a teacher? Let's find out!
Real-Life Experience:

Gathering real-life experience, on top of theoretical understanding always allows a person to master the job better. The third semester of the course lets the students walk into schools and conduct real classes. This teaches much more than just how to take the classes based on the syllabus. This allows the aspirants to know about the different behavioural symptoms of the students and take on different challenges. The aspiring teacher can also learn different teaching techniques which will make them confident teachers in the future. Being the Best B.Ed. College in Lucknow, Techno Institute of Higher Studies facilitates the same.

It is important for the teachers to understand the history of the profession to understand the requirements and the goals of the profession better. Various commissions and committees that have contributed to the evolution of the role like the Mudaliar Commission (1952), Sargent Report (1944), Justice Verma Commission (2012), Hunter Commission (1919) and the Justice Verma Commission (2012). In the theoretical part of the course, one gets to study the history and therefore they can incorporate their learning of the past in improving the future of the profession.

Learning to manage Administration and Affairs

While the curriculum for the schools might be the same, the effect of the teachers depend a lot on the techniques they employ and the way they make the students participate in the process is crucial in the process. The present-day B.Ed pedagogy implemented in Techno Institute of Higher Studies, includes a lot of advanced technological inductions in education that gives the teachers a primary idea of how to be more relevant to the students and also bring in the more exciting ways of learning. Although the administrative responsibility comes later into the career, any young teacher, who has a knack for the administrative part of the job can always contribute to the betterment of the school he is employed in. Since the advent of the internet, the approach towards education has changed rapidly and the students have found themselves exposed to a huge mine of knowledge and more often than not, they struggle to handle it. It has changed the role of the teacher to make his/her students to not only teach them but also inspire and influence them towards the right path of knowledge. B. Ed, with its treatment of rudimentary psychology, helps the aspiring teachers to understand the psyche of the students so that they can guide the talent of the student in the right direction. This way the teacher can influence not just a single class, but a much larger crowd. These are one of the reasons B.Ed is made compulsory in India and with the current growth of the students, both in quality and quantity, it is imperative that the new age teachers also stay fully prepared with all the important skills stacked in their arsenal. This is the reason studying B.Ed has become such an important part of becoming.
